Miriam O'Donoghue, of the City of Dublin VEC, Curriculum Development Unit, is the recipient of the 2011 Tower Person Award for Consumer Educators.
The award recognises the outstanding achievement of dedicated consumer educators and is hoped to encourage successors.
Miriam received the award from the founder, Dr. Heiko Steffens, at the European Commission Representation in Ireland on Monday 27 June 2011.
Miriam has been an outstanding contributor to many aspects of consumer education in Ireland and Europe, and has been a productive and motivating force in PERL. Congratulations Miriam and we look forward to your continuing work!
