Every PERL partner, whether in Work Groups or not, is part of the Consultants' Network. The Consultants' Network members rights and responsibilities are outlined below.

Rights and responsibilities of members of the Consultants' Network
Members of the PERL Consultants’ Network have made the following commitments and receive the following benefits:
Commitments by PERL Consultants’ Network members:
- to hold oneself updated, to the degree possible, on local and global activities within the areas of consumer citizenship, social responsibility, and education for sustainable development and sustainable consumption
- to contribute, when possible, with ideas, recommendations and constructive criticism in connection with PERL research projects, implementation projects and dissemination projects
- to assist, when possible, in assessing one or more of the projects carried out by PERL.
Benefits of being a member of the PERL Consultants’ Network:
- members of the Consultants’ Network will receive two copies of PERL publications free of charge
- in addition to access to the public PERL website which will provide information and links on developments with the field of education for responsible living, members of the Consultants’ Network will also have access to the restricted PERL website containing working documents
- members of the PERL Consultants’ Network will be able to participate in the ongoing, updated global discourse about responsible living and sustainable consumption and production
- members of the PERL Consultants’ Network will be able to participate in the PERL international conference planned for 2011 (their travel and accommodation will be covered by the project)
- members of the PERL Consultants’ Network have the possibility of having their own research results and pedagogical initiatives published in PERL publications.
Requirements for being a member of the PERL Consultants’ Network:
- As previously, your working time is considered to be a contribution to the project by your institution. No monetary compensation for working hours will be made by the PERL project to the members of the Consultants’ Network
- Consultants’ Network participants from Europe will be requested to pay a registration fee of 100 Euro (this covers the entire three year period) unless otherwise agreed before the partnership began.
