Learning to Be: Education for Sustainable Living
A newly published PERL booklet, “Learning to Be", focuses on education for sustainable living and is the third in a series providing an overview of policies and practices from countries around the world.
The booklet presents pedagogical insights from the core curriculum: “Here and Now! Education for Sustainable Consumption” and concrete references to relevant examples.
PERL’s newest publication, “Learning to Be: Education for Sustainable Living”, focuses on the importance of developing the ability to:
- learn continuously
- extend one’s knowledge beyond traditional limits
- trust and empathise
- dare to get involved
- become a global change-agent
